Description:
Usual dive plan to head out towards East Shag Rock and then turn back round after half the dive and return on the reciprocal baring. However also possible if a swim isn’t minded to swim out to the rock and begin the dive there, finishing by heading back to the beach. The bottom is a mixture of sand, rocks and reef. Vis is commonly 4 – 8m
Sea Life:
Crabs, Dogfish, Pipefish, Sole. Eels and cuttlefish at night
Hazards:
Possibility of nets laid by local fishermen, also it is possible to alarm local tourist at night; lights under the sea and divers coming out of dark water (Recommended to have good shore cover).
Conditions:
Can get blown out by NE, E winds

Lights along road at night useful, parking along rd. (easy at night, more difficult at weekends/day), Slipway for easy entry (not for boat).
Problems:
Parking can be difficult during day. There are toilets but they often seem to be closed (off season)
