This is an advanced dive as currents can be strong and it is easy to go deeper than intended

Description:

The lighthouse leads down to the seabed in every direction from, it is therefore important to get a good feel for the rocks and direction of deep and shallow areas before you drop in. Visibility is usually between 10 – 12m but can be as good as 20m.

Sea Life:

An incredible site, bellow 18m there are Sea Fans, Rose Coral, Yellow Sponges. Across the whole site there are carpets of Jewel Anemones, lobsters, Crayfish, Wrasse, Dog Fish, Smooth Hounds, there has even been known to be Dolphins and Sunfish in summer

This is a long way out so calm conditions are important, although it can be seen from the sound

Problems:

Advanced Dive, strong currents, and need calm waters. Best dived after a few days of calm weather and at slack water (2.5 hours after High / Low at Devonport
