Description:

Sandy area in the harbour, with a large rock in the middle, to the north there is an area of rocks with swim-throughs, intermingled with sand. There is also a nature trail (string to follow) although this has many routes and it can be difficult to navigate a circle. There is also a canon about 10m beyond the end of the harbour wall.

Sole, Pipefish, Crabs, Dogfish

Hazards:

Can be a lot of boat traffic (all for diving) so an SMB is essential when diving in the Harbour

Conditions:

Harbour is protected against nearly all winds, and sound is also usually calm enough to dive in, can be rough outside the breakwater though (see conditions for different sites).

Can be closed at off season times of year, need to call and check first
