Joining

PaperworkSo, you’ve decided to join EUSAC (possibly the best decision of your entire life*) . We’ve tried to keep this as simple as possible and keep the paperwork down but it still is fairly convoluted due to the number of bodies you have to give details to… and save you filling out forms in quadruplicate. You can, of course, join at any point of the year (just get in contact and we’ll sort it) but there’re two ways you can join:

  1. At the start of the year (so, the Freshers’ Squash)
  2. Mid year

*The chances of this are pretty small, but there. Still, a pretty great decision.

During Freshers:

  1. Come to one of the pool sessions (1, 2, 3) to see if diving is for you if you’re undecided/want to find out more about the club before joining.
  2. Come to the Freshers’ Squash with money, fill in one short paper form.
  3. Receive an email to your Exeter email address with login details and fill all the details to form your profile (updatable through the year and also means you don’t have to give us your contact details every time you go on a dive with us… we can just call up the info for the AU Health and Safety form)
  4. We print off the completed forms at the Start of Year Briefing (all 5 of them)  and you sign at the bottom to confirm details are correct. Collect your AU cards.
  5. A few weeks later, collect your BSAC membership cards.

Mid Year:

  1. Get in contact with us about wanting to join/any questions/meeting on campus.
  2. Meet up with us somewhere near a printer (probs the library)
  3. We setup a profile and you fill in all the details
  4. We print off the completed forms (all 5 of them)  and you sign at the bottom to confirm details are correct.
  5. Buy committee member a drink for their time.  [zee_icon size=”icon-large” image=”icon-smile”]
  6. A few weeks later, collect your BSAC and AU membership cards.
